₹2 Crore+ Assets Exposed! Assam ACS Officer Caught Taking Bribe | Massive Corruption Crackdown in Guwahati
🚨 Massive Corruption Crackdown in Assam! 🚨
In a major anti-corruption operation, Assam Vigilance and Anti-Corruption officials have reportedly recovered ₹1.18 crore in cash, fixed deposits worth around ₹80 lakh, and multiple land-related documents during raids linked to ACS officer Lachit Kumar Das in Guwahati.
According to investigators, the Additional Director of Land Records was allegedly caught red-handed while accepting a ₹45,000 bribe related to a land sale permission case. The vigilance trap operation was launched after allegations that a much larger amount had been demanded.
Subsequent searches uncovered huge cash reserves, fixed deposit certificates, bank records, insurance documents, and property-related papers. Authorities are continuing their investigation to determine the full extent of the alleged disproportionate assets and possible corruption network.
Corruption not only steals public money—it steals opportunities, trust, and the future of ordinary citizens.
